Quite possibly the best episode so far

BLOCKBUSTING was an episode that truly delivered on all fronts. Expertly directed by Nefertite Nguvu, it had all you want from a sitcom. Funny? Check. Fast paced? Check. Touching? Check. In particular, the casting of this episode was top notch. From Donald Faison as realtor "Terrence" (who, by the way, apparently hasn't aged since CLUELESS), to the return of Lindsay Sloane playing Mrs. Hitman (she was in the original series with quite an original voice...but she'll always "Big Red" from BRING IT ON to me!). All the way down to the supporting characters like goofy neighbor "Jim Fleming", played by Josh Rhett Noble, who seems to REALLY like crown molding and Gregory Zarian as Mr. Hitman (the kind Dad we all wish we had). Kudos to a fantastic episode. It reminds us all what a true gem this series is.

    Great episode

    I loved the original show.

This rendition is awesome as well

This episode is case point in how a classic can be remade and provide different perspectives. It had a good delivery of humour, serious matters and drama...at a pace that never makes you look at your phone or watch.

I also found the plot interesting as I thought it was taking the characters in one direction, but instead went the opposite direction. Yet at the same time cover both angles of housing integration. Often shows will talk about white flight, but this show only alludes to it and instead brought up how people profited by encouraging white flight. Something I never knew or thought of. I think that's the value if shows like this. They take the time to show all angles in search of the complete truth, not just one side.

    Why was this canceled???

I can't believe abc didn't pick this up for a 3rd season! I've been binging it on Netflix. The story is wonderful. I loved the original WONDER YEARS and I love this one too. This episode was fantastic.

I had to get on imdb to try and figure out who the neighbor was played by because he looked so familiar. The actor's name is Josh Rhett Noble but I realize now that he looks like the love child of Chris Pratt and Zac Morris. (Mark Paul Gosselaar).

I love Dule Hill and the talented ensemble of actors. I truly think abc cancels the best shows which is truly frustrating. PLEASE! Bring this show back!
