Helldivers 2 is basically Starship troopers the game, you are are going to shoot some bugs for honor and to keep your freedom and your way of life.

You can even see some in game propaganda of protestors stating that the government is lying and all they want is the oil that's why they are attacking the poor bugs, this one hits so close to our real world current problems

Alao you can count on the devs to keep this lore live, this game will NEVER go political!

One thing that this game has taught me is that the lives of Humanity's present are a crumb; the lives of Humanity's future, a boundless loaf.

Each Ministry is a fundamental pillar upon which Managed Democracy rests. T he Helldivers receive their orders from the Ministry of Defense, and I mine from the Ministry of Truth. In this way, the hands of Liberty are intertwined.

At the end of the day, Lady Liberty's calls for aid haunt my dreams.

This game literally came out of nowhere and has absorbed my free time. It's the first game I have played in years in which I actually have fun. It is so good that I have pulled my friends back after so many months to fight for Super Earth.

The community in this game is absolutely incredible. They have a great sense of humour and are willing to help anyone in need of assistance.

Despite the rough sever launch due to immense player counts, which have since been solved, this game has the potential to be a very early on GOTY.

If you are considering buying this game, I couldn't recommend it more.

At its core, Helldivers 2 remains true to the essence of its predecessor: fast-paced, cooperative gameplay set in a hostile, procedurally generated universe. One of the most thrilling aspects of Helldivers 2 is its emphasis on cooperative gameplay. While the game can be played solo, it truly shines when experienced with friends or fellow Helldivers online. Working together to complete objectives, coordinate attacks, and revive fallen comrades creates an unparalleled sense of camaraderie and achievement. The game's seamless drop-in/drop-out multiplayer functionality makes it easy to join forces with other players, ensuring that the action never stops.

Helldivers 2 delivers a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish and is a must try for everyone! While the gameplay can feel repetitive at times, it consistently maintains the adrenaline-pumping thrill of surviving relentless enemy hordes and sometimes even our own stratagems.

The game shines both in solo play for those seeking a challenge and in co-op with friends. Personally, I've had a blast jumping into SOS missions with random players. Despite occasionally encountering less cooperative teammates, the overall experience is incredibly rewarding-working together to overcome the odds fosters a real sense of camaraderie.

I do hope future updates bring more diverse objectives to keep the gameplay fresh. That said, the developers deserve praise for their model: everything, including warbonds, can be unlocked through in-game currency, making the base game feel like a complete package. While I'd love to support the game further through DLC, their approach to fair monetization is commendable.
