Feeling like playing halo but in third person and with 4 friends?
This is your game
Feeling like playing the game hero's duty from the movie Wreck it Ralph?
This is your game
Looking for a game where tou need to hold the line and make a heroic sacrifice staying behind so your teamates can board extraction?
This is your game.
Helldivers 2 is basically Starship troopers the game, you are are going to shoot some bugs for honor and to keep your freedom and your way of life.
You can even see some in game propaganda of protestors stating that the government is lying and all they want is the oil that's why they are attacking the poor bugs, this one hits so close to our real world current problems
Alao you can count on the devs to keep this lore live, this game will NEVER go political!

Helldivers 2 delivers a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish and is a must try for everyone! While the gameplay can feel repetitive at times, it consistently maintains the adrenaline-pumping thrill of surviving relentless enemy hordes and sometimes even our own stratagems.
The game shines both in solo play for those seeking a challenge and in co-op with friends. Personally, I've had a blast jumping into SOS missions with random players. Despite occasionally encountering less cooperative teammates, the overall experience is incredibly rewarding-working together to overcome the odds fosters a real sense of camaraderie.
I do hope future updates bring more diverse objectives to keep the gameplay fresh. That said, the developers deserve praise for their model: everything, including warbonds, can be unlocked through in-game currency, making the base game feel like a complete package. While I'd love to support the game further through DLC, their approach to fair monetization is commendable.

There was a rocky start, but it was quickly fixed and now it's so much fun I can't even stand it. It's been a while since I've played a multiplayer game where the player base has so much comraderie, teamwork, and all around good vibes. The game's tongue in cheek humor is delightful. The weapons are diverse. The planets and scenery are beautiful. The missions are exciting and challenging. Hunting for samples and, sometimes, losing them in the heat of battle is at once rewarding and frustrating. Just what a good game should be. Enemies are downright terrifying. It's really cool to be part of something so fulfilling. For Democracy. For Super Earth! Let's goooooo!!!
SUPER EARTH PROVIDES
SUPER EARTH PROTECTS
FOR MANAGED DEMOCRACY!!
Helldivers 2 is probably the best multiplayer game since Towerfall Ascension. First of all, the bile titan in the room. This game is a satire, and it's not hiding it. Just look at the trailers. You'll see.
The community is actually pretty nice as well, something rare for popular multiplayer games. In all my hours of playing, I haven't encountered anybody I would consider toxic.
Gameplay wise, the game is awesome. Really (Redacted because IMDB doesn't like profainity) awesome. Friendly fire is always a welcome addition, and helldivers makes pulls it off expertly. Fighting off hoards of fascist space bugs who totally aren't just minding their own buissness until we started killing them for OIL is a blast.

This game is genuinely some of the most fun I've had in a while. The community is amazing, despite the friendly fire no one kills each other and instead will help complete objectives that every single player no matter where they are contribute to. It keeps getting updates bringing more and more content each time. The only real issue is the War Bond mechanic (battle pass) you get the initial one free and enough super credits to get the next one but after that you'll need to pay real money to continue. But even then, it takes so long to finish a Warbond, which I will say never expires, that you won't need to buy another one for a while.
