The role of the "little old woman" who observes the younger women several times during the film was played by the director's grandmother, Suzanne Achache-Wiznitzer.
The origins of the film began with Camille Chamoux's one-woman show, "Camille attaque," co-written by Chamoux and Pauline Bureau. The pair was asked to adapt the show into a screenplay for film.
