This is a the ferocious tale of a vain real estate agent (played by Jonhathan Zaccai) living in a an upscale suburban neighborhood who experiences a painful mishap that will cause him to explore the depths of his own emptiness. A true initiatory journey that examines, among others, the theme of the meaning of life with a good dose of refreshing causticity.
I enjoyed Je te survivrai a lot. It has a good sense of tempo, great lines, the two main characters and some of the supporting roles that are just too good to be true + a not so shallow standpoint on the meaning of life with a pinch of do-the-right-thing dilemma. Definitely worth seeing ! The only small reservation I would have was about the accuracy of accents which is really only noticeable by natives, so should not be a hurdle.

So many good movies don't reach american audience.
Je te survivrai is not a masterpiece, however it is a solid film with strong performances by the lead actors. The ending is quite clear and this how it was intended by the film makers. However, if she didn't reveal her identity, would it have ended the way it did?
