The Ballad of Hortensia

I highly recomend this movie. The acting is great, as expected from the cast menbers. It has beautiful cinematography that will bring you back to iconic places in El Salvador. Such as; El Salvador del Mundo and El Centro Historico among others.

The story develops as one might expect, with the protagonist experiencing change through the obstacles he has to overcome. Furthermore, the film touches on important topics, in particular, women's right.

Lastly, the soundtrack is great and if you grew up in El Salvador during the late 90's, you'll love the featured bands.

Film not suitable for children.

Amazing movies, the actors and actresses are very talented. The photograph is excellent. History is focused on human reality. The dialogue is simple, clear, and direct. The soundtrack is appropriate to any events in the movie. Also, the movie showed humor, a message that invites the reflection of the tematica. The principal actor Julio Yudice showed his transformation from a not-good human man to a good human man. Francisco Gattoro is excellent and has shown his exper Talent and experience as an actor. Helena Haro as a principal actress is soo excellent in her rol. She catched the story as a good woman and devote to her family and husband. Also, Arturo Menendez as director has shown his talent and leadership in the movie. I highly recommend the movie.
