Since making her screen debut as a dancer in an episode of the TV series Tell Me You Love Me in 2007, actress Jamie Bernadette has racked up over 100 acting credits – and along the way, she has developed a large following within the horror community due to her roles in films like Son of Sam, Nightstalker, Reel Evil, Axeman, The Bunnyman Massacre, The 6th Friend, Face of Evil, Elder Island, American Satan, 4/20 Massacre, The Bone Box, Axeman at Cutters Creek, Jurassic Domination, Dead by Dawn, Ash and Bone, Cold Blows the Wind, A Deadly Ride, End Times, and more – including, and perhaps most notably, I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu. Bernadette recently wrapped up her work on another horror feature called Hennesy House Murders, which was filmed at the historic Dunnington Mansion in Farmville, Virginia, which is said to be “one of Virginia’s most haunting landmarks.” To mark the occasion,...

La Dispute have announced their first new album in six years, No One Was Driving the Car, out September 5th via Epitaph. Along with the news, they’ve confirmed a North American tour and released the first act of the album, consisting of three songs: “I Shaved My Head,” “Man with Hands and Ankles Bound,” and “Autofiction Detail.”
No One Was Driving the Car “grapples with malaise in the shadow of the looming apocalypse, which has noticeably been worsened by the advancement of tech,” according to a press release. Heavily inspired by Paul Schrader’s 2017 film First Reformed, the album’s title originates from a quote in a news article read by vocalist Jordan Dreyer, in which a police officer describes a fatal car crash caused by a self-driving Tesla.

Netflix’s Castlevania franchise is full of tragedy, but no character's story is more tragic than Alucard’s. Despite being one of the franchise’s main heroes, directors Sam and Adam Deats certainly demonstrate a penchant for putting him through pain. Alucard’s whole story in Castlevania can be summed up in four words: he didn’t deserve that.
Across four seasons of Castlevania and two seasons of Castlevania: Nocturne, Alucard does nothing wrong beyond bickering with Trevor or Richter. All he ever tries to do is be the good man his mother raised him to be and try to protect humanity, yet his life has been overflowing with suffering since the day his mother died.

Never pictured Charlie Brown as a younger version of Frank Costanza? Get ready to bask in their mutual holiday misery.
The two blockheads have a lot in common. Charlie Brown detests the overcommercialization of Christmas; Costanza finds tinsel distracting. Both are drawn to aluminum poles. And both have a long list of holiday grievances. “Rats. Nobody sent me a Christmas card today,” grumbles Charlie Brown in the original special. “I almost wish there weren’t a holiday season.”
Complaining about the season is what Costanza’s holiday is all about. “At the Festivus dinner,” he explains, “you gather your family around, and you tell them all the ways they have disappointed you over the past year.”
While A Charlie Brown Festivus is fun, it’s disappointingly short at 33 seconds. Luckily, there are more Charlie Brown Christmas parodies that also deliver the goods.

If you were to find entire dinette sets, automobiles and living rooms — with people sitting in them — tumbling Earthward from the clouds, you might think “Okay, so End Times really are a thing.” But it could also be the handiwork of “Space Cowboy” subject Joe Jennings, a “freefall cinematographer” who’s made a specialty of devising and filming such surreal stunts. Coming a decade after Marah Strauch’s first feature “Sunshine Superman,” about Base jumping pioneer Carl Boenish (also an aerial cameraman), this new doc provides a thematically and stylistically overlapping companion piece.
Co-directed with Bryce Leavitt, it’s not quite so exhilarating or moving as its predecessor, perhaps because the central personality isn’t larger-than-life this time around. Still, one can hardly complain, as the pleasantly low-key Jennings earns his living doing activities that make the jaw drop — and they’re all onscreen here. Even Bryan Cranston was shocked at one despicable act committed by Walter White in Breaking Bad. The character turned into the true evil criminal mastermind Heisenberg when he poisoned a kid just to keep Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman by his side. Interestingly, Cranston revealed that he had no clue that he actually poisoned the kid.

The scene in question happened in the Season 4 episode End Times, where Brock Cantillo, son of Jesse’s girlfriend Andrea ends up in the hospital. An angry Jesse confronts Walter with suspicion, but he convinces Jesse that Gus Fring must have planned the poisoning to manipulate him into killing Walter.

The following contains spoilers from Evil Season 4, Episode 10, "How to Survive a Storm."
While not surprising for a show called Evil, the entire season has been focused on a great, dark threat coming to New York City where the series is set. Perhaps it has arrived with a massive hurricane making landfall in the Big Apple providing a more natural than supernatural threat to the protagonists. Though the episode is called "How to Survive a Storm," one longtime character meets their end as the weather clears. Similarly, the show's central villain suffers a major defeat, in which a subtle victory might be hidden.
Perhaps the best thing about Evil is how the series emulates The X-Files, at least in its early seasons. While each episode is filled with one celestial or demonic problem or another, whether this "magic" is real or not remains an open question. At least, this was...

The Daniel Radcliffe-starring comedy anthology series Miracle Workers has been canceled at TBS after four seasons, making the August 28 episode the series finale. But now loyal fans are wondering if the show might be saved by another network or streaming service. As reported by Deadline, the show’s future looked grim back in January when TBS no longer had options on the cast, meaning new deals would have needed to be made for a possible fifth season. However, the creative team was said to have had storyline ideas already in place for Season 5, so if ratings for Season 4 did well, it was possible the show could have been renewed. And sources say that Radcliffe is keen to carry on with the show, which is something of a pet project of his. In addition to Radcliffe, the series starred Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass, who portrayed new characters each season.

It's the end of the road for Miracle Workers.
Per TVLine, it's been reported that TBS has pulled the plug on Miracle Workers, opting not to move forward with a fifth season of the series. The news follows the fourth season wrapping up in August, with the future of the show remaining unclear ever since. The show getting canceled makes American Dad the only original scripted comedy series to remain on TBS, after that animated series was given a two-season renewal in 2021.

TBS original comedy “Miracle Workers” has been canceled after four seasons, Variety has confirmed. The cancellation comes just months after the series finale aired in August.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Season 4 (aptly titled “End Times”) of the anthology comedy picked up with wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs. “Together they navigate the existential horrors of married life and small-town living, all under the dubious guidance of a wealthy junk trader (Steve Buscemi),” reads the description. Previous seasons covered the Oregon Trail and the Dark Ages.

TBS‘s delightful oddball comedy Miracle Workers is finally back and delivering its zaniest season yet with End Times, the fourth chapter in the anthology series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Geraldine Viswanathan, Steve Buscemi, Jon Bass, and Karan Soni. Fans who have followed the gang since Season 1 know that every chapter sees them playing new characters. So, who are they in the End Times, which evokes comparisons to Mad Max and Dune among other apocalyptic works? Radcliffe and Viswanathan, who have played out the “will they or won’t they?” romance in past seasons, are kicking things off as a married couple, Sid and Freya. The dynamic change offered the stars a new avenue to explore. “It was really nice to switch it up and kind of mine the territory of a relationship versus like the ‘will they won’t they’ of it all,” Viswanathan tells TV Insider. “I think we’ve definitely exhausted that,...

The apocalypse is upon us, but this time, we'll welcome it. On July 10, the TBS original series Miracle Workers returns for its fourth season. This time, the anthology series is leaning into the Mad Max aesthetic, with the latest season officially titled Miracle Workers: End Times. Set against a post-apocalyptic background, End Times follows Sid and Freya, newlyweds who boldly go into their suburban lifestyle era, making roots in a small area known as Boomtown.
