Jeong-nyeon has an unexpected introduction to theatre star Ok-gyeong. Frustrated with her current state in life, Jeong-nyeon starts training for audition at the theatre troupe where Ok-gyeong works.
Jeong-nyeon passes the audition for trainees and starts her training, but soon faces adversity amongst other trainees and members. While rushing to prove her peers wrong, Jeong-nyeon accepts a role that is seemingly difficult to play.

Jeong-nyeon finds out about the broadcasting director's ill-intent behind hiring her. As she disregards the director's instructions on air, he demands that she pay for the damages. The troupe director takes Jeong-nyeon back to the troupe.
The troupe begins preparation for the upcoming performance. Jeong-nyeon tries to understand the role she has to play. She feels strange about Young-seo and Joo-ran getting close and in sync, and makes a huge mistake on stage.
The Troupe director prohibits Jeong-nyeon from being on stage until further notice. Nyeon realizes her mistake and analyzes and practices every role in the play. Joo-ran gets injured unexpectedly, thus her role falling to Jeong-nyeon.
Preparation for the audition for lead roles in a new joint troupe play starts. After not being able to pair up with her desired partner, Jeong-nyeon takes a dangerous gamble to elevate herself to prepare for the audition.
