"Be Bridget" is a humorous tale that follows an actress on a frantic quest to create a self-tape for a potential breakthrough role. The catch? She has just one hour to submit it to a casting agent in Los Angeles. Armed with determination and her quirky character Bridget - aged 6 and a bit with BIG BLUE GOGGLES - Kate sets up her home studio. However, her plans are constantly derailed by the comedic antics of her elderly mother and aunt, their interruptions becoming an unintentional part of the chaotic self-tape. Adding to the chaos is a pesky kid and neighbor who mocks Kate when she opens the door in full Bridget costume. A mix-up with a package further complicates matters, leaving Kate in a race against time to complete her audition. As she battles with technical difficulties, including a malfunctioning tripod and a misbehaving green screen, the self-tape turns into a mishmash of Bridget's performance and the mayhem happening around her leading to an unexpected visit from the police. In Los Angeles, the casting director receives Kate's tape, complete with shouting matches, police sirens, and unexpected surprises. Despite the chaotic backdrop, Bridget's performance shines through.
