Mitya, a young sexologist, returns to his native village after studying in St. Petersburg. His family and friends are horrified by his profession, so his uncle arranges for the guy to be a psychiatrist at his hospital. On his first day at work, Mitya realizes that he must by all means enlighten the residents of his small homeland on sensitive issues.

At the general meeting, Mitya was blown away by half the village. Unable to talk to adults, the doctor decides to start his mission with schoolchildren: Mitya undertakes to help a high school student, Roma, who is being bullied by classmates. Meanwhile, the father of a young sexologist believes that his son should rather be married.

Tamara comes to consult a sexologist, who loves her husband very much, but she does not like to fulfill her marital duty. Mitya conducts family therapy, after which he gets a black eye again. The guy has to find a new place to receive patients, and his choice falls on an abandoned pioneer camp with a ghost.

Before the commission arrives, the only heart monitor in the local hospital burns down. Uncle Grisha asks Mitya to play along with him in order to deceive the inspectors. Due to a misunderstanding, Egor begins to suspect that his and Polina's daughter Vera is not really from him. To find out the truth, the man goes to the witch.

Polina's friend Olya invites Mitya on a date, because she has always dreamed of meeting an intelligent boyfriend. She doesn't know yet that Mitya has also found a twist in her - an unusual psychiatric diagnosis.

A teenager comes to Mitya, who believes that hair has grown on his hands because of a broken promise. Meanwhile, Egor asks Mitya to help him win back Polina's love.

Valera, a local sewage disposal worker who got into an awkward situation, turns to a sexologist for help. After the first kiss, Polina avoids Mitya. The guy thinks that she just doesn't want to hurt her little daughter, so she decides to make friends with the child.

Polina's mother is returning to the village. The girl asks Mitya not to talk about their secret relationship yet. Meanwhile, Polina's mother is trying to help Egor establish a relationship with her daughter, but in the end, the girl files for divorce.

Polina wants to find out who exactly Egor cheated on her with. Egor himself is going through a difficult final breakup, and has been drinking with his friends for several days. Mitya has to take care of him, clean up and make sure that the man does not get into trouble.

Polina is going to move in with Mitya, but it seems that the guy is not ready for such a rapid development of the relationship. To scare the girl away, he "turns on" the brownie.

Mitya hears his father calling him a rag in conversation with his mother. In an attempt to prove that he is a real man, the guy enters into an unequal battle with a chainsaw. Egor finds out the truth about cheating, and Mitya tries to help a couple who are hiding their true desires from each other.

After a fight at the wedding, the whole village learns about Mitya and Polina's relationship. Her friends are jealous of her, because he is a sexologist, which means he knows how to do something interesting. While others are discussing their personal lives, Mitya himself is trying to find new patients.

Polina accidentally calls Mitya Egor. The girlfriends unequivocally declare that she is wearing a love spell that urgently needs to be removed. Egor takes Vera to an amusement park, hoping to prove to Polina that he is a great father. But the walk ends with a ride in a police car.

Arkadiy Ukupnik is coming to the village with a concert. Egor wants to make a surprise for Polina and asks the artist to serenade her. Meanwhile, Mitya finds out that the singer has problems with self-esteem, and volunteers to help.

Polina dreams of leaving her native village, so she makes Mitya an offer. Egor continues to try to win back his ex-wife and unexpectedly gains an advantage over his main rival.

Mitya is abducted by a young girl who is sure that the first night with a guy should be spent strictly before the age of 19. Polina thinks that Egor is involved in Mitya's disappearance. Trying to figure it out, the girl accidentally reveals the secret of her lover to everyone. After hearing the truth, the young doctor's father takes drastic measures.
