Okay I will keep this short. I congratulate the director for completing a project. Most people do not. I congratulate the actors/actresses for a job well done (for the most part) - I think the writing and direction was more the problem than the acting itself -
I congratulate whoever did the sound - you did well.
What i didn't like was how everything just felt uninteresting. The dialogue was so soft i could hardly hear it then BANG big jump scare and that annoyed me a lot. The makeup was good - the creature good - I just couldnt 'get into' this movie at all. I'm sorry but it just felt phoned in - in a way I find hard to really explain.
I'm no director or movie star etc - but I'm just a fan of horror and I think the other movie these main actors were in (aftermath 2021) - was way better but even that was not a movie i particularly liked. It was good to see them return to do a movie together but eh I don't like this movie much man - Maybe someone out there will like it - I'm sure some will - For me just bleh - I admit i stopped paying attention halfway through - so was 'here n there' - but by halfway I had mostly 'checked out' -
I'm glad to see others write better more informative reviews. Is it just me or are movies getting a bit more phoned in as time goes on? I dunno i just feel like that. They have killer cinematography but other than that - I dont know - it's not like a lot of movies in the 90's where there was something interesting about it - hard to explain.

The movie was really interesting as a concept and Ashley Greene was incredible in it. I really didn't know how much of good actress she was, she really embodied the role and made it so believable, I was surprised. Not sure what I expected, but not this good.
I can definitely see this having one or even multiple sequels as a lot more stories can be told with the main characters and the premises let us as viewers wonder how she got to do what she does and other patients she could have helped or might help in the future.
The actress playing her daughter also did a fantastic job.
Really enjoyed the movie.

I look for little things when rating horror movies. Does the acting have emotion? Facial expressions? Is it good? After all we don't really get to see anything new but we can see slightly different plots with good acting. I this point I think we are rating horror movies on acting and effects (although the latter isn't entirely necessary). Anyway with that said I love Ashley Greene. I like her in aftermath, all the twilight movies, and the apparition. She's a very talented and beautiful actress and she really does only get more beautiful with time. Fine wine. Now Ellie O'Brien??? I was absolutely blown away at how good of an actress this woman is. I think she just turned 23 and her acting is really good for her age. Absolute natural. In one of the opening scenes she's arguing with her mom (Ashley Greene) and I think I replayed that scene like 7 times because of how natural and on point her acting was. She's really good at drama. I say that to say this movie is easily a 7 because of these 2 women selling the movie. It's really a 5 but I put 6 because they did a really good job. The movie itself has been done 100 times so don't expect anything new. It didn't break the internet but it did put me to bed on a Sunday.
Stumbling upon the 2025 horror movie "It Feeds" by random chance, I had no idea what I was in for. I have to say that it hardly mattered, as it being a horror movie that I hadn't already seen was more than sufficient to make me give it a chance.
And I am glad that I did, because writer and director Chad Archibald delivered an enjoyable and entertaining movie. It was actually refreshing to sit down and watch a proper horror movie for a change, as many recent horror movies have been generic, stereotypic and bland. So thumbs up for the delivery of the script that shaped the movie "It Feeds".
The acting performances in "It Feeds" were good, and there are some familiar faces on the cast list, with the likes of Shawn Ashmore, Ashley Greene and Julian Richings.
The visuals and special effects in the movie are good. I liked the design of the entity that was latching itself unto people. And the movie had an overall semi-brooding atmosphere to it, that definitely helped add to the overall enjoyment of the movie.
If you enjoy horror movies, then you most definitely should sit down and watch "It Feeds".
I was genuinely and wholeheartedly entertained by "It Feeds", and it definitely is a movie that I would recommend to horror fans. This is how to properly writer and direct a horror movie.
My rating of writer and director Chad Archibald's 2025 movie "It Feeds" lands on a six out of ten stars.

Generic, unimaginative, formulaic. Not the worst horror movie I've seen, but it certainly wasn't very good.
The performances from the two young actresses in the film were extremely weak and over-acted, and one of them is supposed to be Ashley Greene's daughter, despite only looking about 10 years younger than her which took me out of the film quite a lot. Ashley herself did a decent job with the script she was given, though.
Every beat in this movie was predictable and clichéd, down to the creepy kid drawings and ineffective jump scares. The script was bland and offered nothing new or unique, and there was no unsettling imagery or scares to elevate the material.
Overall, I recommend skipping this one.
