Epic 70's hard core surf film

Island Magic (1972). Filmmaker / Director John Hitchcock. Carefully avoiding surf spot identification, the film has footage of rarely shown locales on Maui and Kaui, along with Joey Cabell, Owl Chapman, Sam Hawk, Buddy Boy, Gerry Lopez and others.

This is a great surf film from the 70's showcasing the local Hawaiian surfers rarely seen in surf films. The surfing for that time was cutting edge and the rare interviews of Dick Brewer and Owl Chapman are awesome! Big waves medium waves all prefect in the Hawaiian Islands. They also travel to Europe and surf France and Spain! If you want to see classic 70's surfing, this is the film to watch!
