The first review here on imdb has spoilers and I was pretty annoyed I read it before watching. And even more so after I started watching and enjoying it so much. So here's a reminder, choose YES at the bottom of the review box after the question "Does this review contain spoilers?" if you're talking about things that happen/not happen in the movie/series reviewed!!
Moving on, this was a lot of fun. It reminded me a bit of movies like The Italian Job and Now You See Me in terms of action, pacing, etc. It was thrilling and cute, the actors were all good, great costumes/sets, music very fitting, even the graphics were good. And I didn't watch it at a higher speed like usual, all the characters spoke at a normal human speed rather than slower to fill in time. Overall, perfect fun!

Trillion Game on Netflix. This drama was the most fun I have seen all year - loved it. The best casting for the duo Haru and Gaku - Haru the most confident, arrogant, driven, fun, good-looking, guy with the biggest smile who knows how to lie and con his way into making a business out of thin air. Then there is Gaku who is the Geeky one who is a major hacker but the honest one who is a whiz at doing anything related to computer but lacks the social skills to get the job in the first place. But when they team up together they make the perfect duo - and roadmap to taking it all. The 3rd person to join the team was recruited and female who was assigned to be President of the Trillion Game Company. Her casting could have been better as she was a little too robotic, although it was humorous at times, but her face wasn't memorable like the 2 guys, but it still was a fun series to watch with a huge suggestion at the end for another season to come. Sure hope so.

So happy to see a live version of a manga following the One Piece adaptation, netflix are on a streak
The series got us all hooked, every episode was a roller coaster of twists and surprises, with anime-like scenes, amazing soundtracks and good acting
10/10.
Can't wait for more seasons and urgently more adaptations of more anime series and Mangas These things are finally being done seriously unlike the garbage we had in the past, and they are doing good job in it Keep on doing more, add effects and adapt more anime material and content, awesome series and alot of good scenes little to no fillers.

What a wonderful experience seeing Haru and Gaku go about business. Haru, the perpetual optimist is willing to lay everything on the line, not due to recklessness, but based on his immense belief in the Gaku. On the other hand, Gaku, the genius engineer, trusts Haru wholeheartedly and follows him along on this fantasy journey as he believes in the power of their friendship.
Rinrin also stands out as a significant character and is wonderfully played by the actor. Her never ending dedication and diligence to her duty is admirable.
Kiri Hime is also a powerful character, although shallow, the actor did a great job in portraying two sides of Kiri.
This show also mixes in comedy to create an overall enjoyable experience.

It's definitely an entertaining season.
However, it seems to lack some of the unique charm found in the manga, particularly Ryoichi Ikegami's distinctive visual style. The character Haru, in particular, proves difficult to translate into reality. Even so, from what I know from the source material (up to the 5th episode), it's a solid adaptation! But unfortunately, many of the plot developments, though sometimes feeling rushed here and overall outlandish (which is perfectly fine), don't deliver the satisfying twists and turns you'd expect from more popular series (like Liar Game or Death Note). I personally felt a lack of tension and limited reasons for deep investment in what was being shown. That said, the rest of the main cast delivers excellent performances! The production is good, and the camerawork decent.
I would much rather wait until I can finish this story in manga form. But it is a perfectly good show.

Haru and Gaku are former classmates who meet after both have interviews at Dragon Bank, a major company in Japan. Haru is a great communicator, bluffing his way into and out of various situations, while Gaku is a computer geek and has zero soft skills. They develop a roadmap (read: a comic, absurdly-detached-from-reality wishlist) to gaining trillion dollars and conquering dragon bank.
The series makes absolutely no sense from multiple perspectives. Watching this you would think becoming a rich person is a board game. There is little reality behind the business decisions, and it's all moving super fast.
However, the series is also fun in an absurd way. It's extremely entertaining to watch the tide being pulled back and forth.
The series has little to no romantic interactions, but I have to give it to Meguro Ren and Imada Mio for their chemistry. The "chemistry" word is so overplayed that it barely means anything, but if anyone has it, these two do. When they stare at eachother you can cut the air between them with scissors. Their characters, however, keep the enemies/friends game, all for the sake of their businesses. I am honestly very happy that nothing ever happens between them- but they keep the playful and sometimes downright offensive manner to one another. Their scenes were super entertaining, and I wish I could have seen more.
