Watching this film truly felt like watching a character's life flash before his eyes all in the span of a little over four minutes.
I love how the two main characters know nothing of each other yet their lives are forever changed in an instant because of one another!
This film dares to dive into the topic of "not running" from our problems, fears and sins because eventually everything catches up to you, and in this story it's in the form of a horrifying monster !
Overall I wish I could rate this film MUCH HIGHER than the barometer of IMDB, I can NOT wait to see what else this amazing creative director has in store for us in the future !!

At ~4 minutes long, "Don't Run" is a quick, fast-paced thrill, but one that I found to be quite impressive.
It was intense, purposeful, well thought out, and emotional, right from the start... with an intriguing, but intentional underlying message to the story.
I really appreciated the stylish approach to the camera work. We see some nicely-achieved fast cut content for dramatic effect. The performance and perspectives were right on.
You can also tell that there is so much passion/dedication to this film behind the scenes. The director and the other actors/creators did an incredible job.
Jesse Foy does it again, and I am certainly looking forward to what he and his team can do in the future!!!

Jesse, I am so proud of you for pursuing what you're most passionate about. And that dedication, that hard work ethic can clearly be seen throughout the film. Your careful eye for detail and the way you're able to tell a story within a story is inspiring.
Perfect casting choices, by the way. Great story! Lighting was exceptional and the fog was a great addition to add suspense.
Jesse, you are an amazing director and I wish I could have added an original song to the movie, but I'm so proud of how this turned out for you! You truly deserve all the praise you are getting for this hauntingly beautiful body of work you created.

Don't Run is a fantastic suspense filled short film that, even in its ~4 minute runtime, leaves you wondering where the creature is and what will happen next. I found myself watching it 3 times in a row just to see if there was anything I missed. The setting adds levels to the eerie feeling you get, and the camera cuts make it feel like you're right there with the main character. Speaking of the main character, if this is his first time being in front of a camera, he did an incredible job portraying the fear and adding to that suspense.
Absolutely loved this short film. I hope Jesse Foy plans on making more horror in the future. The production and the story behind the film are 10/10.
