Tired of superheroes? Fair. But who can ever say they're tired of Scooby-Doo?
Here, he teams up with Krypto, the canine companion of Superman, and while the movie isn't anything that special, the fact that it's the first piece of Scoob media since HBO's Velma (a bitter and ugly edgelady affair that shat on characters it didn't care to understand) makes seeing the Mystery Inc. Kids go at it again feel like a palette cleanser from Heaven. I suppose I also laughed more at this parody of Lex Luthor than I did at the new Harley Quinn season's Lex during the totality of its latest season.
You might feel that the inclusion of superhero characters is an attempt to cash in the popularity of something that frankly isn't as popular anymore, but this sort of crossover is hardly out of the ordinary for this gang. (Scoob and Batman have fought together as far back as the 1970s; if you want something truly desperate, look no further than 2020's Scoob!) Also, the most prominent of the appearing villains is Solomon Grundy, which is a very "Scooby-Doo" choice indeed. (Slightly less pleasant: Tara Strong once again plays Harley Quinn and there's a sort of sad poetry to the fact that a now-hated actress would get to do the role again, the same year the original Harley, Arleen Sorkin, left this world.)
Even if you didn't watch Velma and don't realize what a reassurance this is for many, the flick might still please you. Again, not one of the best, but watching one of these movies -- pointing out all the red herrings, guessing who the real villain is, anticipating the chase montage, etc. -- is a quintessential part of the season.
The only people who still seem upset are the Snyder hashtag spammers who think this inoffensive, formulaic-but-charmingly-so DVD movie is another example of David Zaslav's effort to disrespect DC's superheroes. Can't you manchildren just be happy that Season 4 of Harley Quinn is as bad as it gets for you guys and that there's no Batman equivalent of Velma... yet?

Its very different than others scooby doo, but this was just like something new from future or like that. I liked it very mutch and it wasnt too long. It was like not boring with 🍒(unnatural thing) superheros on the top. Idk what to type here because this needs to bee very long but the caracters were cool and the super dog is so good, litle emotional and with big fantasy. It was not scary at all but very confusing and funny. Scoby do was in good here. The food lookt so good and the truck fenommenal. This is one of the best scoby doos and i wasnt disapointed. But i can understand if some body didnt like it it was just something different.
This movie offers a moderately enjoyable crossover experience, earning a solid six out of ten stars for its watchable yet unremarkable adventure. The film successfully blends the classic Scooby-Doo mystery formula with the iconic heroes and villains of the DC Universe, providing some fun interactions and visual gags as the Mystery Inc. Gang teams up with the Super-Pets to solve a series of perplexing disappearances. While the voice acting is as charming as ever and the animation is vibrant, the plot itself feels a bit too predictable, rarely straying from well-worn tropes and lacking the deeper thematic elements or surprising twists that would elevate it beyond a simple animated romp. It's a pleasant diversion for fans of either franchise, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression or stand out as a must-watch in either canon.
Well, the good thing here is that you know what you are getting yourself into when you sit down to watch the 2023 animated movie "Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too".
However, I have to say that I found the storyline, as written by T. K. O'Brian, a bit too mundane and generic. Sure, it was watchable, given the fact that it was a combination of classic Scooby-Doo mixed in with some DC Justice League. But it ultimately was just soup boiled on watered-down broth.
The art style and animation in "Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too" is good, and that classic "Scooby-Doo!" drawing style just works every time, and it certainly helps to make it all the more watchable.
With "Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too" being an animated movie, then having a proper voice acting ensemble is important. And you know with the likes of Frank Welker, Grey Griffin, Matthew Lillard and Kate Micucci as the Mystery Gang, then you're in capable hands.
I found "Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too" to be enjoyable and watchable for what it turned out to be, though director Cecilia Aranovich didn't bring anything new to the franchise.
My rating of "Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too" lands on a bland five out of ten stars.

Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are searching the Hall of Justice for the seemingly missing Justice League. They find a fiery phantom instead. It's all hands on deck as supervillains are wrecking havoc on Metropolis. Jimmy calls his summer camp friend Daphne. The Scooby-Doo gang arrives at the Hall to solve the phantom with help from Krypto The Superdog and Lex Luthor.
This is an animated mashup between Scooby-Doo and DC Justice League. It has some fun with the silly premise. It is very much a Scooby-Doo mystery and the final reveal is not that exciting. I would have liked to pin the whole thing on a janitor. The silly fun runs a little thin by the end, but it is still a good time.

- TriviaThe film was leaked online by an anonymous source on March 4, 2023. This led to widespread speculation that Warner Bros. Discovery canceled the project for tax write-offs as they were known to do around this time, although the announcement of an official release puts the theory in question. Even then, the motivation behind the leak remains unknown.
- GoofsAfter the lockdown is initiated at the Hall of Justice, the words on the monitor read as "Lock Up Complated."
