My Uncle Jens

Akam is young man with Kurdish roots living in Norway, he works as a school teacher and rents a co-shared apartment in Oslo. Suddenly in the middle of the night, someone arrives at his place and says that he is his uncle who came to visit from Iran. The visit lasts longer than expected and unfolds a whole new series of events for Akam and the uncle. This film is a lovely comedy that raises, in a gentle and humorous manner, such relevant topics as communication problems, cultural differences and misunderstandings, setting personal boundaries, but most importantly - legal and illegal immigration to places where people can feel safer and these places' ambiguous reaction to this process. All in all, a very good, amiable movie that I definitely recommend.
