I just watched the movie DONT SAY IT starring Richard Grosso (also the writer) and Victoria Kellher.
The movie has a lot of strong scenes. It also has very interesting to watch characters.
The movie is directed by Stephen Ward.
This movie was shot in a very creative stylistic way. It's a heart-warming indie rom com! Love it! The storyline pulls you in many directions as you're watching this movie.
This is a romantic ride portrayed on screen that is great for date night. I thought all the lead actors had great onscreen chemistry- so good together. The sets and scenes are great. Check this movie out! You'll remember it!

Warm and Charming indie film that makes you Laugh and Cry. Shows that all people deserve Love no matter what age and what they have gone thru. All of the actors are stellar. One review compared the writing to Woody Allen and I agree.
Showed it to a few friends and they liked it so much they watched it again with friends of theirs instead of choosing to watch an Academy Award nominated film we had access to and those people were very glad they did. Great date night movie. So far everyone I turned on to this film was not disappointed. So glad that independent films of this quality get made. Hats off to everyone one involved with the making of this film!

Wonderful, heart-warming Indie comedy-romance. Rich Grosso, who wrote and stars in this film, delivers an exceptional performance as Pat, a restaurateur and divorcee, who is at a crossroads in his life, having not fulfilled his dreams, when he meets Lara, a waitress, who is also divorced and wondering how she got so off course in fulfilling her dreams.
As Pat navigates his struggles to heal his relationship with his daughter, and to find his way to make his dreams of opening a supper club a reality, he and Lara explore a friendship. Standout acting from Rich as Pat, Victoria Kelleher as Lara, Tony Denison as Rich's therapist Dr. Bernardi, Viva Vinson as CJ, jazz singer and friend to Lara, Joe Pacheco as Pat's brother Paul, and all the actors.
While light-hearted and very funny, this film explores deep issues of trust, facing one's fears, and healing old wounds in relationships. I was moved to tears more than once. Great cover song, performed by the marvelous Jazz singer Viva Vinson (whose real life mother, actress Delores Deluce, delivers hilarious lines as a cafe patron!) Great date movie, or relaxing, rainy day movie. Highly recommend it!

"Don't Say It" is a sweet-natured romantic dramedy that my wife and I quite enjoyed, and that's saying something! While the story itself treads in familiar romcom territory, its the writing and performances that elevate this film way beyond what we often expect from indie films. Even better, the film takes a look at the difficulty folks have finding connection as they get older, especially after having been burned by relationships in the past. Writer/lead Rich Grosso and his opposite, Victoria Kelleher create nuanced characters that we were rooting for, and each conveyed a world-weary countenance that rang true. And with its well-done production values, strong editing, and compelling subplots, this is a film that's perfect to enjoy with your sweetie, perhaps while sharing a nice plate of chicken piccatta!
Really cute and fun indie romcom. The performances and characters were very sincere, and the writing was pretty top notch. It lacks a certain professionalism that most films with a budget have, but that adds to this very genuine vibe the movie gives off. You can tell this came from a very real place from the filmmakers and that there was truly a lot of love put into this story.
I also greatly appreciated how the topics of mental health issues were breached. It does border a bit on cartoonish at points, but it is rather difficult to showcase the idea they were going for so I commend the attempt.

- TriviaSometimes it's just a family affair in the film "Don't Say It". Did you know that the film's very own Actor, Writer, Producer Rich Grosso has two sisters and one of them, Dolores Deluce portrays Margery in the film, plus Rich's real life niece Viva Vinson portrays the character of CJ. But it does not stop there. Dolores Deluce is Viva Vinson's real life mother.
