This is a Canadian Film shot in Calgary. The film really captured the essence of Canadian city. I am from Vancouver and it reminded me very much of my city. It is about 4 young adult friends and the struggles with drug addiction. This is a touchy subject but it's an everyday reality and i am glad they brought it to life on the screen in such and accurate portrayal. I really enjoyed the film. The characters were all different but their struggles were all the same. They were charming. It was heartwarming. While it is a serious subject there were some lighter moments that made me laugh a few times. The actors were really good in this. I recommend seeing it and they are also donating 10% to Crisis Centers.
Last night a friend invited me to the premiere showing and all I can say to the whole cast and the director..." SUPERB""...".Magnificent. Pritika Anand and all the actors did a excellent job of putting what happens to so many innocent young people today who are caught in this TRAP and in free fall and cannot find a way out...BUT the movie leaves you with the feeling that there is HOPE for these young adults. All throughout the movie I was transfixed and was anxious to know what would happen next...a sign of an excellent piece of work, truly inspiring. Congratulations !!!!! If this movie can positively change even one life permanently its blessings are infinite.

A friend of mine heard of this movie from PDFC and insisted we go see it. I will be honest that I usually don't like going for movies if I don't know much about them as it takes a lot for me to like one. However, this time I decided to go to support PDFC. A huge thank you to my friend for insisting. Three Colors and a canvas is an excellent approach towards the subject, without glamorizing the drug culture. It makes you think about the many things touched in the story whether you are familiar with drug use or not. It almost feels like real life. very well portrayed through some outstanding performances and great direction. Great storyline. without saying more I would highly recommend this movie for everyone! Btw, music is incredible.

The movie shows the reality of life if caught up in drugs, that starts as fun.The characters were all unique and charming and the story of drug addiction is very relatable.A sensitive topic that has been screened coupled with comedy.A stark reminder that just beneath the patina of affluence, there lurks another world that we do not often see, a world of addiction and poverty. Great direction and every actor justify their roles.A film that every one should go see. Great job Three Colours & A Cavas! It was a beautifully made movie and I thank you for capturing not only the gorgeous sceneries . but also the stories of those who were affected by drug abuse. I look forward to seeing more of your films soon!
