Ever since Johnny Depp won his lawsuit against his abusive ex-wife and exposed her for being a liar, a monster and a fraud, his name has been cleared and over 5 billion people worldwide; many of them watching the trial online and on TV, have expressed their support for a male DV survivor and of false accusations and their disgust for how horrible AMber Heard was both in Court and toward people like Johnny Depp, Kate James, and others.
Nevertheless, there is still a small portion of the public (rabid misandrist political cults, social media nutsos, and resentful medias) who still try to attack Johnny Depp and his name; alongside the public for supporting him.
Which is a really bad move considering that any media that insults its audience (billions of people worldwide) as incels, masculinists, and misogynists because they expressed their disgust toward AH and their support for JD risks losing the trust of their audience; which is why independent journalism and research online has become a more common reality for many people. Which is quite normal considering the numerous lies that medias have done toward JD, but also toward others like Michael Jackson, Marilyn Manson, Woody Allen, etc.
Fortunately, all the anti-Depp documentaries that have been made so far have flopped enormously. But the initiative of making a respectful and decent documentary toward Johnny Depp still waits to be done until now.
For here comes Surviving Amber Heard; a documentary that presents both sides of the case, alongside audio recordings played in Court, in the press, in social media. Furthermore, video excerpts from the media and from the trial are shown there.
Everything is done here, so that we can see both sides of this case.
A situation that shows clearly how JD is innocent and a victim of DV and how his ex-wife is a fraud who mistreated him and others and who also exploited political movements for her personal gain and revenge.
In many episodes, the situation is covered and more are to come soon. And it is moments like these that I wish Netflix would offer such a doc to its audiences. The reviews have been extremely positive from the public and people have enjoyed watching it.
Again, watching the trial on YouTube in its entirety is a must as it covers the whole case extensively.
But this doc offers a great summary of all the facts revealed in Court and in the press.
A crucial case that is not, as some claimed, a meagre tabloid celebrity drama. But a case for male dv survivors, for victims of false accusations, and a case against dubious medias, misandrist cults, and hypocritical social justice groups who demonize a male victim of DV for their personal gain.

It's about time that some truth is put into a documentary. All the other documentaries put out were always full of lies and all pro Heard and it's ridiculous. They edit out the truth to make it look like Johnny is a monstar when in reality it was her that was the monster.
The evidence provided by her was fake and edited. This shows her many lies and who was the real abuser in their relationship. Something her fans and MSM don't want you to see.
This documentary has everything you need to see that you won't see in Amber's PR documentaries.
Never out of many documentaries I seen over the years have I seen one with so much truth in it.
I'm so happy that somebody took the time out of their day to make this very well done documentary to show the REAL TRUTH. You are amazing for doing this and you should be very proud of yourself as well.
Let's get this documentary an award for Best documentary.

When making "documentaries" on true events the creators should be more responsible. This doesn't show all the evidence, it also is clear that the creator doesn't understand Domestic Violence or Intimate partner violence because if they did they wouldn't be showing things in an incorrect light. When you use things to only prove your point but leave out everything that contradicts what you say it's highly suspicious and it's very manipulative. I hope anybody that watches this goes and finds the truth because this "film" does not provide anybody with that. This is a clearly biased production and nobody should take it as fact.
Ever since Netflix's train wreck regarding this trial, I've been waiting for a responsible party to tell it like it is. The Gods must've "heard" my calls. Surviving Amber Heard by Amazon is exactly what we've all been waiting for. The unadulterated truth using her own damning words, and the words of some individuals who actually know her. And when I say "we all" I mean us sane folks who saw right through her lies. Not the crazies on twitter who were convinced she could do no wrong. Many of them claiming to be SA victims. As an R victim, I was appalled by her testimony and recognized Mr. Depp's as it mirrored my own. Thanks Amazon!
It stuck to the facts and evidence. And concisely explained this entire saga. I tried following the trial, but it was too long and I couldn't see the entire picture, which this one masterfully provides in abundance.
Not much editorializing. Just facts. I watched the sequel too (The Timeline of Surviving Amber Heard) That one is somehow even better.
I'd say this one is a slow burn. The sequel, not so much. They immediately dig into, as the title would suggest, the timeline of their relationship, and the outer layers that tried to cloud the facts of this case.
If you come into the film with without prejudice towards any of them, you'd find it eye-opening.
