A short that stays with you

This short film proves you don't need a long runtime to make a big impact. The story feels grounded and real, the acting is heartfelt, and the direction keeps everything tight and meaningful. It's emotional without being overdone, and it stays with you long after it ends. A must-watch. Highly recommended Easy 10/10.

A MUST See!

I've seen LIVING IN FEAR twice and it is even better the second time around. The cast is top-notch with heartbreaking and effective performances. A very compelling story with a haunting ending that is expertly written and directed by Kayvon Derak-Shanian. I just found out this film is Oscar qualified and I encourage anyone on the Academy to watch it, vote for it, and give it its just due.

A Brilliantly Crafted Film With Heart

Living in Fear is such an amazing, heartfelt film. The acting is really strong and pulls you in right away. Kayvon did an incredible job with the writing, directing, and editing as everything in the film flows so naturally. The story really makes you think and it has such a powerful message. It's one of those movies that stays with you after you watch it.

The cast as a whole was impressive, with Cameron and his mom's roles standing out beautifully. For a short film, it's remarkably impactful.
