My kids and I are on our second watch. We watched it the first week of its release and finished it in two sittings. The trailer instantly caught our attention and we knew we would love it, and it did not disappoint our expectations. We are anxiously awaiting and desperately hoping for the second season. There's not many shows anymore that are good and stay good throughout and this rare gem captured us. From beginning to end and everything in between this show was an adventure and an absolute joy. We loved the animation and how different it was as well. I am lost count of how many times I googled if there is an update when season 2 will release and it hasn't even been a full year yet haha. Come on with it Apple TV!
This new series has been great. The content is family friendly for my 9 and 12 year old children. A good mix of fun, scares, and smart dialogue that my children could relate to. Assume family we watched the first three episodes all at one time and wanted to watch more but because it was already past our children's normal bed time we didn't. Before we started the series I read that it was like Indiana Jones in reverse and I would have to agree. Some adventure, historical artifacts, supernatural, and good thoughtful moments for children to learn from. My family is looking forward to watching the rest of the series. It may help to know that another animated series we really enjoyed together was Troll Hunters.

I consumed this show in almost one sitting. Brilliantly done in all the ways. I cannot wait for another season!
It reminds me of Doctor Who (especially with Matt Smith as The Doctor), the Monkey Island games, and Indiana Jones -- plus a family that feels real. As a mother myself, I am so grateful to see multi-dimensional Sky as a character.
The show is asking us to consider (or perhaps reconsider) the appropriateness of museums and private individuals continuing to hold the cultural property of other societies. It's also asking us to consider what it would be like to live in a big, weird old house and have a friend with a small plane who can take you anywhere. And that's how you know it's a great show!

I thought the story built up pretty well, the episodes connecting very well and the overall look pretty cool. The younger kids, seven and five seem to really like it and it wasn't too scary for them. I found some moments, pretty creepy myself, but it didn't seem to bother the little ones. I thought it looked good and sounded good. Good casting for voices, with some notable star voices. Looking forward to another season of this.
This show is the holy grail of family TV shows- kid appropriate but well written enough to keep the parents entertained. The comic book inspired art style is beautiful, the characters are well developed and not one note, and they fit a lot of adventure into a 23 minute episode. It's sort of a kid-centric Indiana Jones reminiscent adventure story or a more grown-up Wild Thornberries. It's got enough teenager to keep the school-aged kids engaged, and the adventure is fun but mild enough that younger kids can watch with their older siblings without getting scared. Can't wait for Apple TV to put out season 3!
