Plot

The Anti-Monitor, the Monitor's evil counterpart, is released into the DC Multiverse and begins to destroy the different Earths that compose it. The Monitor attempts to recruit heroes from across the Multiverse to fight back.

The Monitor must enlist heroes from all over the DC Multiverse after its malevolent counterpart, the Anti-Monitor, wreaks havoc on it. Other heroes, including a new Green Lantern Corps, join the battle as the Flash, sent by an enigmatic figure, arrives on Earth-3. Superman is devastated when Supergirl gives her life to defeat the Anti-Monitor. When the heroes assemble on Warworld, Batman discloses a startling fact regarding the Crisis's beginnings.—Anonymous
