  • This music video was created by film director Eugene Khazin, who was born in Kyiv, in collaboration with musicians Chris Wirsig, JD McGibney and Matthew Lee Patterson, to bring attention to ongoing humanitarian and war catastrophe in Ukraine, and direct people to several humanitarian organizations, currently focuses on helping Ukrainian people. Original song lyrics by Pavlo Chubynsky from 1862, almost half and century old, was translated and adapted by E. Khazin into modern time English. Same work was done on original music of Mykhailo Verbytskyi from 1863, during arrangement by Chris Wirsig. Selected genre of this music video was heavy metal, making it first such cover ever done on state anthem of Ukraine. In video itself was included shots and footage from several memorable and historical locations from Ukraine, including cities of Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa and now destroyed Mariupol.
