I love watching low budget indie films because they often tend to have a much better story and acting, than most of the Hollywood blockbusters, and this movie was one of them. It is a dark romantic drama centering Martin (a lonely weirdo) and Lauren (yet another weirdo) who were on a first date. Martin then takes Lauren to his place after which she locks herself in the bathroom and their unusual relationship begins to develop. There are not many characters here so the main pressure was on the lead roles, and even though relatively unknown, both Justine Wachsberger and Ian Hutton did an amazing job. Their acting is SUPERB and I could really feel the strong chemistry between them. There were some nice aquatic scenes and I suppose the movie is called "Seahorses" because they are fragile as the main characters. You'll love it, you'll love the characters, you'll love the story, watch it! I highly recommend it.
