It moved me.

Yesterday, as part of a Turin festival, I had the opportunity and the good luck to attend a screening of this film. Set in the 1960s, and centered on a group of friends, I found it to be a delicate and exciting coming-of-age story, very touching. The plot sometimes takes, at least apparently, different directions until it merges into a choral tale with a universal scope. I really liked the photography, the confident and clean direction, the accurate reconstruction of the era and the stylistic choices. The actors, almost all very young, are talented and authentic. I wish the film further recognitions.

Pentaclub is a film about friendship, both on the screen and behind the scenes because a group of friends, who met in the 1960s, was essential to the film's production. The director wrote the screenplay together with his wife, while their friends worked on the production design and the costumes.
