Eddie is a kind, giggly, brilliantly imaginative little boy who also happens to be autistic. Whatever adventure he has in store, be it an Easter egg hunt, a train journey, a visit to Grandpa or a trip to the dentist's, Eddie always likes to know what's going to happen in advance.

Ready Eddie Go! offers bitesize 'how to' guides for an array of life scenarios: dressing up; exploring new foods; playing a board game; hosting a visitor. Each episode walks Eddie and his pals, step by step, through the day's upcoming activity, with plenty of playful cutaways and fun set-pieces along the way.

One of Eddie's special powers is his fantastically vivid imagination. This allows him to transport himself up into space (his favourite subject), a submarine in a rock pool, or even a relaxing spa scene in a bathtub. We all love watching Eddie enjoy these beautiful little flights of fancy.

The series has a very distinctive art style: colourful, playful, even a little tactile. This frtiendly, squidgy world is also joined together with a series of graphical signposts which help younger children to clearly understand how a particular task or event is being divided up into clear stages.

Based on Nikki Saunders' books 'My Awesome Autism' the series is 26 x 7min episodes, commissioned by Sky Kids.
