An IT raid on Eby Zachariah's company leads to IT assistant commission Bhamakrishnan seizing the devices including Eby's personal laptop for further enquiry. Eby has his private video with his wife saved in his laptop and she gives him an ultimatum to retrieve it at any cost. Meanwhile, Rashmitha feels humiliated by her husband and his doctor friend Jayadevan during her divorce case hearing. She confronts Jayadevan violently and later tries to end her life. Eby tries to steal the laptop but ends up hiding in Rashmitha's flat and even drinks the poison laced drink she had made for herself. What happens that night when the police, a film actor and hired goons get involved in the mess, forms rest of the story.
The over the top comedy is something up Basil Joseph's ally and he aces his role with ease. As the humor is driven by the situation and ofcourse several misunderstandings, it works mostly in evoking laughs especially during the hospital scene and later towards the end. I wish Althaf Salim's segment was better handled but the final reveal involving him made me laught the most. Nunakkuzhi remained a decent watch, thanks to the performances and may be it won't work the same in repeat watches. The comic timing of Basil Joseph and Grace Antony along with Nikhila Vimal in the end, guarantees laughs, making it a decent one time watch.

A complete laugh riot with no hard feelings from a director who is known for his serious crime thriller movies...the movie somewhat looks like taken by JeethuJoseph out of frustration of his past couple of movies and his tamil movie not doing well in box office ... This is out of his genre and man he rocked ... He has made a comedy crime thriller u can call it with serious actors unlike comedy actors .... Majority of actors in this movie are known for more serious roles and they create a laugh riot.... The story is nothing path breaking but Jeethu who is a screenplay master used his strength to full potential to create this movie and like his other previous movies like Dhrishyam he linked his first scene to the main spot of whole movie... Definitely worth a watch and the dialogues are key for this movie... All characters small or large creates laughter with serious faces unlike a santhanam crap joke movies .... Malayalam movie directors proves that they are good at any genre at any small budget... GO FOR IT.

This movie is Hilarious. Actors have done a good job. The story is very engaging and unpredictable with lots of twists and turns. Loved it. Basil Joseph is right for the role and I loved Siddique's character.
It's been a while since I watched a good funny Malayalam movie.
The movie flows effortlessly and every scene and dialogue are nice to watch. What I liked most is, in every scene the actors in the background is worth watching. Those expressions can make you chuckle.
Who ever wrote this story is a genius. There's lot of attention given to the details and the direction is also really good. There is only one song in the movie and it is placed aptly.

What a movie and what a brilliant casting! Kudos to Jeethu Joseph for a creating a brilliant comedy movie after a long time. The comedic elements worked really well for me in this movie, and the ensemble cast, including Aju Varghese and Swasika, just stole the show.
I don't have any negatives to share about this one but I felt the editing could have been a bit better. Jeethu's technical department has a great standard and I have been noting that since a long time. I'm not saying it was bad but I felt it lacked the lustre unlike his last films.
Basil Joseph has done a great job once again. Hopefully, he will continue choosing the right scripts. Kudos to everyone once again.

Nunakuzhi - Liar's day out
A humorous engaging story telling by Jeethu Joseph built over endless lies.
The plot of the movie revolves around the heaps of lies that two individuals tell to cover the trouble they accidentally got into and the interconnected events that they come across forms the storyline.
Krishnakumar has written an engaging script with many humorous moments except for few flaws in areas that makes the story predictable. The way he connected all the characters in the story and their placement was impressive.
A highlight of this movie is evident through the brilliant casting of many versatile actors in the movie. Impressive performances by Basil,Grace,Siddique,Baiju Santhosh,Manoj K Jayan,Saiju Kurup,Althaf & Binu Pappu.
Good story telling by Jeethu in the humour genre after My Boss. The placement of the song 'Hallelujah' synced well with the situation. Jeethu has conveyed the story through a humorous track without losing the essence of the screenplay keeping the audience absorbed to the movie.
A fun to watch entertainer that is definitely a laughter treat for the audience.
Rating - 3.5/5.
