    Kept my interest

Kept my interest from the first movie through the end of this one! I enjoyed both. Good plot! Good mix of folklore. Reminds me of the old syfi movies. You can tell they had a good budget with the quality of the film. Did not expect that ending. Always rooting for the little guy. Hope they come out with a 3rd.

    Terrible in every way possible!!

This was the worst movie I have seen this year by far. Terrible acting and terrible writing. The writers must be fired for doing such a bad job. The leads were tired, boring and pointless. The males were idiotic and the females were not cut out for their parts. Wrong casting. Not funny and not at all believable in their roles. Don't waste your time on this garbage. 2/10.

This is why I quit my Netflix Subscription

This, right here, is why I cancelled my Netflix subscription. Well, not this movie specifically but the fact that the money I was paying for a subscription went to this utter tripe instead of, oh, I don't know, a second season of ANY of the great show's they've killed.

Where does one even begin ? Bad writing, bad acting, bad foreign dub (for those who brave that path), silly cinematography...I can't even.

    Excellent!!

I enjoy it very much...very Scandinavian troll tradition. I enjoyed the first one , and I was waiting for the Troll 2 to come in Netflix and it was not disappointed.it brings very old Norwegian old folks stories of how Norwegian enjoy their all old folks stories that their ancestors brought into the Scandinavian. This with a little modern twist ...good entertaining movie.

    Bland sequel

The first Troll movie was a fresh take on the mythology - a surprising gem that built slow reveals into interesting character interactions, and gave us just enough action without sacrificing the underlying story. It was a treat, and remains one of the best things Netflix has ever produced, so it's no surprise that they ordered a sequel. However, the sequel lacks all of the character, warmth, and wonder that made the original so delightful. Instead, it hews very closely to the genetic "Netflix formula" that so many of their worst efforts aim for. You get a by-the-numbers government plot that sets up uninteresting motivations, ending in bland action sequences. Even the jokes fall flat this time. The trolls themselves look as good as ever, and there are a few moments where the old sparks shine through, but overall this is a sequel that completely misses the mark. Not recommended.
