This film is a collection of two shorts and one mid-length, shot in different years, but somehow happening to build up a trilogy about the past, present and future. Part 1, Short Story, depicts a woman having to share the roof for life with the man who killed her father decades before in the context of Stalinist repressions. Part 2, CU:FAREWELL, is a no-dialogue story about a woman in a post-Soviet country married to a gangster and herself turning to crime for love. Part 3, Birthday is a dystopian story about three patients staying in an abandoned mental hospital ruined by a civil war, among bits of the past.
