It is a hot, dry summer in Klein-Schappleben. Self-made entrepreneur Micha returns from Berlin to the small village of his childhood in Saxony-Anhalt. The game designer has an idea in his luggage, more than that, a vision. He wants to turn his parents' dilapidated former hotel into a luxury hotel with a wellness oasis for stressed city dwellers. The quarreling village community is skeptical, only Micha's school friend Tina and his partner Jenny believe in Micha's ambitious plans. When the groundwater dries up and the whole village is left high and dry, the residents have to learn that the future of Klein-Schappleben can only be shaped together.
