Plot

Noble Savage

Summaries

  • The comedy landscape has deteriorated in the last 5 years. Even the comedians who claim to be "banned" are still able to operate in the mainstream. They are bought and sold and their jokes have no edge as they must serve their masters. Conversely, Owen Benjamin is the most banned comedian. Instead of giving up, he has built his own media funded only by his fans, giving him the autonomy to tell real jokes. Achievements include his own streaming platform, magazines, social media app, and crowdfunded land for festivals. His daily streams reach 80,000 people daily. None of the mainstream comedians can lay claim to anything similar. Noble Savage, his new special, shot in a tent in Missouri, is his triumphant shot across the bow, landing a solid blow to the mediocrity that currently exists in comedy.—Spool Bear
  • After fading from the comedy scene and becoming more and more of an Internet pariah, Owen Benjamin attempts a come back in a field in the Missouri Ozarks, that his live stream viewers purchased for him. His viewers wrote most of the jokes as well, it is mostly racist and homophobic identity politics.
