    Honest Review - Twist Ending!

Written, filmed, and edited in a small town, by one person. You can tell this was a passion-project, and a lot of soul and effort was put into it. There were some blurry shots and some "un-orthodox" camera angles, but that won't take away from the heart and story this film is making.

Again it was a small, low-budget film, so for the work that the crew put into it shows. The acting is fantastic from the main three characts to the delivery guy (my favorite character, wanted to see more of him) Certain scenes portrayed an event or action while the camera remained on the characters, while the event happened off-screen. Again it's a low budget film but it would have been nice to see what the characters were seeing in the moment as well, but the actors did a great job convincing us!

The story, is a unique idea as well. Subtle context clues throughout the film keeps you guessing as to what the final conclusion was, and when it's revealed, it honestly made me gasp, it is a fantastic story.

I hope this film gets the budget it's earned so the director can make more, as there is only improvment!

    ~Thank you.

Maybe I'm Biased, but good story, camera guy needs fired.

Full disclosure: I wrote and directed this. I promise not to get crew to spam these reviews with10/10, but since I am entitled to one review, I'll give our film 8/10.

We were blessed with incredible actors, and our small crew worked their tails off. However there are some shots that are out of focus, and the cinematographer should have been fired. (I was the cinematographer).

Having said that, I hope you'll find "Father's Day" to be a sweet, thought-provoking story that captures your attention and entertains you for 91 minutes. We poured our hearts out into this indie film, and hope that the passion shows up on the screen.

Whether you love it or hate it, or fall somewhere in-between, we really appreciate you watching our first feature!

    Engaging and surprisingly heart warming!

I really enjoyed watching this movie. From the first scene I was invested in finding out the truth behind the ultimate motive and time crunch. The cast was entertaining and personally for myself, relatable. Even after I thought I had figured it out, there was yet another twist. Not to give anything away but I was truthfully surprised at the heartwarming ending that brought a tear to my eye. This movie turned out to be so much more than what I was expecting when I sat down to watch it, it is truly a thought provoking fiction that I plan to watch again. The perspective it takes on real world problems is very insightful. I would recommend it to anyone, as I feel some of the topics in the movie could open many eyes! Well done!
