The fake magazine in the middle of the film 'Toronto Living' is a play on the two magazines 'Toronto Life' and 'Canadian Living', imitating the style of the front cover of a typical 'Toronto Living'.
The cat on the fake 'Mclanes' magazine is 'Elphaba', the Associate producer's cat (Jared Nicholson - brother to Dennis and Katrina Nicholson).
The voice of the sushi girl and the pizza guy (who Dylan accidentally calls while immobilized by anti-theft mode) were both provided by the Editor John Nicholls who put them in as a temp track for Sound-Post but were left in when Dennis (the director) thought they were hilarious and need not be replaced.
Sticky tape from the Sound Mixer Jeffrey's sound kit was used to have Kara's keys 'stick' to the coat rack shelf when she comes home and drops them onto it, despite the coat rack shelf being tilted more than 45 degrees.
