El paso elsewhere Is a relationship trauma simulator masquerading as a shooting game. It is really good.
I will be brutal in the start. It doesn't feel as good as any of the Max Payne games, the gameplay just lacks the Punch or meaty sound impact, but they do have hilarious Ragdoll physics just like Max Payne 2.
But it's one of those games were all the different parts combined into a higher Symphony.
The voice acting is amazing, they found the perfect voice for the main guy, he sounds so tired and just on the edge of his sanity but he has to keep on, and the voice of his ex vampire girlfriend has a real person vibe to it.
The music was so good that I didn't need to have a podcast in the background. It is so good and there are so many different songs and when they are lyrics, it feels like we inside the main characters head, it's so good.
The graphics are very minimalistic in the polygon count but the colors and use of light are so well used, And the cutscenes are using the angle, so well that it feel dynamic, even if the characters mouths never open.
The sadness of going away from an abusive relationship, you keep remembering that one bright day that kept your through all the bad days. The game tackle this in a very tasteful and funny way, Even if the dialogue gets of its own ass a bit much. What can you expect when the main character is going to hell, is he not supposed to get philosophical and reflecting.
It is absolutely a game worth experiences, would recommend with a big thumbs up.
