Nia Moore leads a monotonous suburban life. Suspecting her husband's affair, she seeks passion with Derek. But when she reconciles with her husband, Derek becomes obsessed, threatening her family.

Nia Moore is the picturesque wife living a monotonous life in the suburbs. She has a beautiful daughter, a beautiful home, and a hardworking husband who doesn't seem to notice she exists anymore. She juggles being the perfect mother and housewife while finishing her third novel but is one deadline from being dropped by her agent. Suspecting her husband of an affair, she seeks the passion she yearns for in the arms of a mysterious man named, Derek. Guilt soon sets in and Nia finds herself having to choose between her marriage and her lover. Choosing to mend her relationship with her husband turns Derek's infatuation into obsession. Derek begins to stalk Nia, threatening everything that she holds dear. Nia learns that like wars, affairs are easy to start and hard to get out of. The web of lies and deceit begins to unravel as events unfold, leaving Nia to question everything and everyone, including her husband. She must figure out how to get Derek out of her life and keep up her appearance as the Good Wife.—Sophia Harden
