Nothing Broken

This series never lets up the intensity and action, so I wouldn't say this is the "contemplative" episode that traditionally gets slotted in before the action-packed season finale. But it definitely builds the tension that is set to explode in the next installment.

Now that we have a deeper appreciation of what is driving Mizu, her story is all the more tragic but also epic. The scenes of "preparing" for the final confrontation with Fowler were cool.

Mizu and Akemi's stories now have an interesting parallelism. They are both on a trajectory to overthrow the limitations placed on women in this society.

After a couple of intense and actionpacked episodes, this one doubles down, in stead focusing on our characters which includes Mizu and Akemi!

I enjoyed Akemis storyline in this episode! In a world where women is seen as property and objects, controlling your life can seem impossible! However she realizes who she is and her skills and uses those!

Mizu is also starting to figure out who she is! In a long time she was consumed by hate, fueled by vengance! The characters she met, have allowed for her to reflect on who she is what she has become! Now the question is whether she is gonna commit to her mission.. or not!

Fowler is menacing and detastable and things look bleak for the final episode!
