No pun intended - I am not sure where you are from and if you are a fan of FC Bayern Munich. In Germany if you are interested in football (or soccer as the Americans like to say), then you are either for or against this club. In stark contrast to other countries though, if they play internationally, many people want them to succeed or be good at least.
The Generation Wembley laid down a foundation ... one that the current team is still riding on. While only one other Champions League title was added on top since then - this is still quite the achievement considering how much money other clubs put in their team and have not come close to win this trophy.
This six part series (and imdb should recognize it is only those episodes - what more is there to tell?) tells quite the compelling story. Actually many stories - you get to hear from those directly involved and from those that were the ... well "enemies" at the time. Every game, every win but also every loss helped, was another step in the direction needed. 2012 may have been one of the hardest year for the club ... and the fans. And the documentary is almost rubbing our faces in it. But it seemed to be necessary ... the hurt, before the glory.
Great behind the scenes looks, amazing interviews ... and really really honest stuff .... even when it is or was uncomfortable (Ribery and Robben episode ... which luckily was resolved by the powers to be) ... if you are a fan of the club, I should not need to tell you to watch this. For anyone else: if you do not actively hate the club ... this is really worth while and interesting to say the least ...
