- A documentary crew follows an eccentric Bristolian on his quest to turn an obscure west-country martial art into an international sport, and a tough South London girl's ascension to Shin-Kicking extraordinaire.
- Trevor Tizzard is a simple man with a big dream: to go down in history as CEO of "the world's most dizzifying sports organisation", built on the foundations of an obscure martial art known as Shin-kicking. Problem is, no-one has ever heard of it. Maybe because it's largely been confined to the Cotswold Olympic games since it's original conception all the way back in the 17th Century - apparently. But now, with the support of his long-suffering wife, Squid, Trevor has moved to London to establish the city's first Shin-kicking tournament, and is on the hunt for local talent to step up and fight for the grand prize of 500 quid, in the magnificent arena that is Penge East car park. Aside from documenting the antics of the eccentric entrepreneur as he promotes on the streets of Penge and secures funding from a local taxidermist, the crew follows bthe lineup of local oddballs entering the competition. Such as Rob Roy, a scrawny Scot with an unsettling aura, and rough-cut diamond geezer Nelson Dekkler. But most notably Bex King - the only female combatant and Trev's personal favourite to win. He sees her as his protégé, and the fighting force to help him launch the sport into the stratosphere. Bex is sharp as a tack, and tough to boot. But do a few scraps down the Crooked Billet, and defending her mate Kel from the advances of neighbourhood wrong'un, Malik, really qualify her to smash through every shin on the roster? Perhaps. But more importantly... does anyone really care? Find out... at Shin-Dig One!.
