Loves this documentary I thought I knew so much about cavies until I saw this. The segment in Peru was fascinating and the song contest made me and my mum laugh. The scene at the eco centre with the elderly woman was incredible as they were so knowledgeable. I wanted to see this in the cinema but it was only on for a short time so im so pleased streamers are showing it. If you like animals it is hard to watch in parts but you learn so much about the species in detail. Even though it shows the abuse side the director captures all the fabulous people helping these wee creatures. It has inspired me to help out at my local rescue. 100% recommend.

A truly original and fascinating piece of work from one of Britains best new film makers This is an original and honest look at the world of guinea pigs and their significance to different cultures across the globe Accessible , honest and non judgemental this is a film made from the heart with love and great skill. The film maker is clearly brave as well as skilled as she exposes herself to evidence of cruelty and even consumption of her beloved animals especially so as she is a vegan The movie takes you around the country through pet lovers , shows and rescue centres with love and respect . It then goes international covering a major show in France And onwards to Peru with its very different view of this wonderful creature A must see movie from a film maker who is rising to the very top of her trade.
