This Micro-Short film was released in 2023. I have to commend the editing for the choice of using red and blue to separate the scenes. I got the sense this is leaning towards a take the red or blue pill premise. The sound effects are well done and help immensely to enhance the scenes. The significant objects are basic, a bed, a bathtub, a bottle of pills, and a bottle of Jack Daniels. That's all it takes to make this a brilliant, but tormented look into the mind of someone who is suffering deeply. What I like about this, is what is not being said. There is no backstory to tell us why the character has reached the point of despair. Just a plain and basic storyline, yet it is so compelling to see what eventually happens to the character. Overall, this Micro-Film is worth a watch. This is what I love about independent films, you don't need all the information and descriptions to explain the story, extravagant budgets, or too many cooks in the kitchen. The visuals and sound effects are enough to deliver the plot. This is an example how a film can be shot by one man using a camera. If you want to see another golden gem of independent films, then I highly recommend this one to have a look at.
