I watched this movie solely for the fact that I had no idea Jim Jeffries ever began acting (second funniest standup comedian behind Bill Burr in my opinion) and figured he helped write the script but unfortunately, he did not. As a result, it was nowhere near as funny as it could or should have been but Colton Dunn (Redix) did have two very hilarious scenes which provided as the only funny parts of the movie. The movie is not boring or dull but lacking in comedy and jokes which is what I base any comedy movie's greatness on. From Ken Jeong to David Hasselhoff, Rick Fox, Kid Cudi, and even a cameo by Justin Bieber, there was enough star power to make it interesting but the screenwriting was lacking which was unfortunate. The movie had a great concept, though. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but you should enjoy it if you decide to watch it after all.
Lighten up people.
Probably the most non-PC movie made in recent times, this is a very funny film.
I don't think anyone escape ridicule. This script goes after everybody.
Hasselhoff is fantastic, skewering himself and his image with abandon and Jeong is great as well.
For those who want to laugh and won't mind the jokes, this is perfect.

This film, I imagine, is meant to be a raunchy black comedy. Well, it certainly is raunchy as well as lewd, crude, and, in my opinion, terribly unfunny.
Ken Jeong stars here as Chris, whose life is in shambles and sees his only way out is to kill David Hasselhoff and win his Celebrity Death Pool, which has grown to over 500 thousand dollars.
There are some decent performances here such as Will Sasso as a loan shark, Colton Dunn as a gay hit-man, and Hasselhoff does well parodying himself.
However, it just all added up to me as painful to watch silliness. Mercifully, it's only 1 hr. and 20 min.in length.

This film really only works if you are massively into David Hasselhoff, or if references, nostalgia and cameos are your absolute favourite parts of a movie. This has all that in spades!
Apart from that there really isn't that much ucg esle to offer here. It's not really all that funny and the story is all over the place.
Overall it's a pretty brainless comedy that relies on references to get it through, if you just want to turn your brain off then it's fine, but that's about it.

I like Hasselhoff - he's not afraid to make fun of his image and has done some really good stuff in recent years.
But this film is pure junk right from the outset.
The acting is awful and the comedy unfunny. Whoever the lead character is (can't be bothered looking him up) is not a good actor and is ridiculously childish in the way he tries to force humour where there isn't any.
Don't bother wasting time or money on this rubbish.
