Yes it was good animation as well. I grew up watching this at 7pm before it got replaced by the goddamn shopping show.

Character in this show is somehow funny... At certain times/episode. Only make me laugh sometimes and not frequently. What? They are bald since the age of 5 and never grew up a hair.. A SINGLE HAIR. The character is Upin and Ipin. And right now , I'm just kinda hate them now.

___Storyline____ When I said it's decent , I meant it. I'm enjoying the show pretty much as a kid(now I'm teen). But as I grew up , things have changed. And my preference have changed. But the storyline is pretty impressive compared to the others. As of , I'm enjoy the show.

Why do I say it's inappropriate although it was kids cartoon?

If you are malay/Indonesian who understands Malay language , you probably once hear this word in real life The word is *play the drum roll* ... AKU What? It is.

Aku means 'me' in English Which is nice IF it's in English. If you are malay/Indonesian you are probably not gonna say that word in front of your parents. You don't want to find out what happens. Aku is considered to be inappropriate word in malay. You can't say that in front of your parents , family or whatever. Similar to KAU which mean 'you' in English. Like I said KAU and AKU is inappropriate to say. But somehow , the script writer of this show , didn't think twice to put that words in kids show. Holy Fuu-

So on summary , if you want to waste your time over this decent show , then watch it. But I suggest not. If you are think it's cringe... Because it was..

Although this animation are pretty childish (cuz it mainly targeted for kids), but Upin and Ipin are important and a legend for Malaysian animation industry. Without Upin and Ipin, other great Malaysian animation like Rimba Racer, BoBoiBoy, BoBoiBoy Galaxy, Ejen Ali (Agent Ali) and other won't exist because they are the leader of those animation.

Showing since 2007 till now, Les' Copaque has made a LOT of improvements for this animation like characters and props movements, characters development, storylines, graphics and other huge improvements. The storylines have good morals to be learn not only for kids, but also to us.

Les' Copaque also make other animations after Upin and Ipin success ; Pada Zaman Dahulu (Once Upon A Time) that tells story about Aris and Ara listening to their Aki (grandfather) tells them stories about animals in the jungle, Puteri (Princesses) about five princesses of Kerajaan Limau with their unique abilities and DaDuDiDo about four Earth's main elements ; Fire (Da), Wind (Du), Water (Di) and Earth (Do).

Upin and Ipin recently have three movies ; Upin and Ipin : Gang Adventure Begins, Upin and Ipin : Jeng, jeng, jeng! and the latest, Upin and Ipin : The Lone Gibbon Kris that was also one of Oscar Award nominee for animation category. Good job and congratulations, Les' Copaque!

Upin Ipin is a childish animation and has a simple story line so that it is easily digested by children. Upin and Ipin is a cartoon intended as a means of moral education and character, not just a cartoon as entertainment.

Many scenes on Upin Ipin show the importance of tolerance, kinship, friendship, and much more. Upin and Ipin's characters are told as Muslim figures who have non-Muslim friends, such as Jarjit Singh the Punjabi child and Mei-Mei the Chinese child. It's clear that this animated series is intended to teach children how important tolerance is.

Not merely telling about daily life, Upin and Ipin animated series sometimes picks up stories that have nothing to do with everyday life. For example, in the episode "Aku sebuah Jam" (I'm a Clock) where Upin and Ipin turned into alarm clock and stayed at Ah Tong's watch shop. This makes the children not feel bored watching the cartoon series Upin and Ipin set in a village.

But, there are some scenes that are made too excessive. There are several scenes that mimic scenes in Anime.

Upin Ipin cartoon series must be watched by children, especially small children aged five years and over.

Pure cancer. Just cancer. Every time I watch this show I almost die, these little brats can't even speak proper english. Just please rethink your life if you like this show.

Hi, to all of you who think this show is bad because of how childish it is, yes it's a kids show, we Malaysians enjoy this show as a childhood show. Resect the animations of us. You just play rate and hate. You just watch trailer not show. I know it is a little bad, but everything can improve, you don't say hate messages, you cannot improve, you can say it's little bad, but, say it nicely. This is also my childhood show, i like the watak watak. Btw, it's hard to animate you know, it's not like you can animate 17 seasons. So please don't hate any animations. I hope somebody read my message.(thanks)
