Ahhhhh, Ryan's World, the YouTube Kids franchise milked out by Ryan's parents and PocketWatch. What was originally a generic toy channel became a franchise with merchandise, a Nick Jr. Television series, video games and various YouTube spin-offs. Now, we have this movie which gained a wide theatrical release and was pulled after only three weeks, not even making a tenth of its budget.
The story involves Ryan's younger sisters being kidnapped and Ryan must save them under his superhero alter-ego the Red Titan after he acts like a jerk to them, leading to the kidnapping. There goes our hero, causing a plot device for the sake of doing so! Some of the other Ryan's World characters also appear in this film but they're one-dimensional and forgettable.
The live-action portions are like amateur night, they barely improve from the YouTube channel itself. The animation is a bit stiff at times but its bright and colourful, and it helps that San-Ei Animation, the studio behind the Doraemon anime is behind this.
But overall... there was a reason why this bombed big time, it came out at the wrong time when Ryan's World isn't as big as it once was... and just feels like more pressure from PocketWatch. Will Ryan ever regret this film once he becomes an adult? Who knows.

At least Barney shows had a plot with a climax and an ending....this is just product placement cash grab visual fodder. If I had to pick one thing I like about the entire Ryan franchise it's the dad. He's at least funny in a way that he is naturally. He clearly doesn't try to do what he knows he can not. The mom is the antagonist in this tragedy of a movie. She is clearly the one responsible for this trash heap. I just feel bad for the children. Ryan is way passed the point of his peak popularity. And he is just too awkward to be likable at this point. When he was younger it was cute. Now it's just pathetic. When those three kids are older, yes, they will be financially secure (hopefully) but I just hope they don't act like Corey Feldog and make a career out of pan handling and dangling their former stardom out there like a worm on a hook soaking in a glass of water.
Watched this movie with my children. I've never seen such horrible animation, with poor voice acting. It just uses Ryan to lure the kids in to watch 90 minutes of total mediocrity. When the trailer first released I thought it would've had a somewhat of a decent storyline. But it just takes basic plots from other notable films. This movie is just a waste of $60. The only reason this movie is known is because of the exploitation of Ryan's young audience. Because of how easily the mind of a child could be manipulated. To simplify everything I just said this movie is just a easy cash grab that took no effort.
This film is one of the worst cash grabs ever made, and promotes the exploitation of child stars on YouTube. The characters are complete jerks who barely learn anything, animation that is passable but poorly lip-synced, and the most generic story a kids film could ever have, that doesn't deliver anything new and fits a 5 minute cartoon more than a feature film. It is filled to the brim with product placement, acting that feels extremely forced and souless, jokes that either make no sense or are used as filler, and the film itself isn't even faithful enough to the Ryan's World franchise itself, feeling more like a reboot than an adaption. This is among the worst kids movies of the past decade, along the lines of Norm of the North, The Emoji Movie and Cool Cat Saves the Kids.
I found this somewhere online, and just let me say, this movie sucks, the plot is essentially Ryan getting stuck in a comic book and has to save it, or something like that, just basic isekai stuff. The plot is bare and the dialogue is bad to meh at best, I guess it's ok for little kids but it's still a major flop, it literally costed $10 million, and got less then 1 million dollars in the box office, meaning it was a 9 MILLION DOLLAR loss. I also wanna mention that Ryan was 12 at the production of this, and now he's 13 yet still making videos for kids, and people think that his parents are just forcing him at this point, so just let me say this.
