I saw Tallywacker at the Sommerville Theatre.
This by far was one of the best Independant films I have seen. The characters Alister and Emmett have such a natural chemistry and genuine connection in the film you just cant help but love them and laugh with them.
Alister is so optimistic and determined, despite his physical disabilities and his mothers problems with addictions, he was very inspiring. Emmetts showed immence patience while supporting his band mate live out his dream, even though he was getting left behind. He showed us all what a truly special bond they had. The music was great and actually played by the actors.
The director Brendon Boogie with Jeremy Dubs (Whom this movie was inspired by events based on Jeremys real life) did an amazing job writing and directing this film.
I am so happy I was able to see it!
And Chris, please forgive my memory issues, getting old sucks...lol.
