This was a pretty good B-Movie action flick.. On the downside, story was a bit muddled and cliched. The caliber of the acting was also uneven, but not too bad.
On the positive side there is some decent humor in here. The cinematography is a cut above what you'd expect in a movie like this. Action choreography was also good, and the editing was also excellent keeping everything fast paced in the action sequences. A standout was the guy who plays the main villain. He had a bit of that James Bond-esque style of villainy, and he was also very good in the action scenes.
On the whole, although not winning any academy awards, this was an entertaining flick, and I enjoyed it.

An amnesiac awakens from a coma only to find that people want him dead for stealing a lot of money which he has no clue about, so basically throughout the movie he's being hunted down by a mysterious hit man squad and another mysterious sniper woman. All done around the Covid 19 plandemic and many are wearing masks. Lots of "OK" fight scenes and gunplay, but the bad guys always pause too long when they are about to kill "the good guy" so he gets the advantage, not realistic in the slightest, but still rather entertaining to watch. No questionable content or nudity, some foul language and fight violence, but no gore. OK watch while doing other things. Enjoy.
This is an ambitious action flick that delivers a potent combination of martial arts, gunplay, and swordplay with some good character development along the way. Actors Eliza Kelley (Layla) and Wan Dral (Isaac) shine as adversaries pitted against each other. Nice to see a subtle respect develop between them. I appreciate that the filmmakers kept the action happening at regular intervals. Nice production values - cinematography and sound. It's great to see an action movie set on the East Coast (Richmond, VA) for a change. Eliza Kelley delivers a standout performance that leaves the male actors scrambling for cover.
You've got to check out this creative gem inspired by the COVID experience! I absolutely love this indie action movie! After the intense stuff we all went through during the pandemic, it's refreshing to see such creativity emerge from it. Despite being low-budget, this film is incredibly well done, showcasing a committed cast that brings their characters to life. The filmmakers clearly had a vision, and it shows in the stunning visuals. But what truly impressed me was the editing-tight, sharp, and impactful, keeping the pace brisk throughout. With plenty of exciting action scenes and a blend of martial arts, gunplay, and swordplay, this film delivers in every aspect. If you're a fan of indie movies, especially those that capture the essence of 90s action films with a modern twist, this is a must-see!
An Old school thriller fight film with a pandemic backstory. There are so many fight scenes here that it must have taken an age to choreograph everything but it works well even with all the swords. The lead actor has a believable script dialogue and his accent adds to the sense of amnesia that the character has. With many of the scenes taking part at night the lighting is well done and avoids darkened out visuals. Indie filmmaking is hard and the creators managed to pull off an action flick at a very hard time given pandemic restrictions. All that would have made this better are balsa wood takes to crash over heads and sugar glass bottles to smash!
