Bad Man

Could never understand what these directors and screenwriters thing of themselves. Well there is such thing like making some bucks for living at the production stage. The box-office and even reputation doesn't matter. Characters aren't acting they just mumble chatter shout cry - anything but not acting. This garbage needs to disappear from this database. It doesn't deserve a single line of mentioning here. Users below or above say they gave up in 30 min - well that was too slow - I left this nonsense in 4 min. Follow me.

Except the fact that most of the cast including Sean William Scott were speaking in cowboy language which was high and very annoying, I didn't get much of a plot in this movie. Bad man had me scratching my head because it was clueless, yes the effort was there but I was bored and decided to not waste my time trying to watch this again. Ok Sean William Scott has come back again on Telly...ok that's about it. NB they tried to do a Tarantino's POV trunk shot style from the boot thing but still doesn't land. The movie is not good! Skip.

The first half left me lost-murky plot, zero laughs, and Seann William Scott flailing between funny and serious like he forgot the script; I almost bailed. Then the back half kicked in with real crime tension, solid action, and Johnny Simmons absolutely owning the sidelined local cop, while Chance Perdomo's final DJ role broke my heart with effortless charm. Comedy hit-or-miss, thriller barely there, but that line "There are no good men. Only bad men and those who they bend" stuck hard. At 6/10, it's a messy one-time watch-worth it for the late spark and Perdomo's memory, but don't expect genre balance.

It's not a masterpiece indeed, but it's a decent movie. The acting is more than acceptable, the plot is based on true events, so you have to think about before sinking a film. What if it would depict real people showing their stupidity, idiotic, naive behaviors? Would you show something different? If in reality you're an imbecile, should you have been depicted like a smart guy? Obviously not! Writing a review explained that you stopped watching a movie after thirty minutes makes me think that you're not eligible to write anything about that movie. You simply didn't see that film, period. Take your advice for yourself and don't say to the others that they don't have to waste their time and money, because you don't know anything about this movie. You simply gave up after thirty minutes. You should be banned from IMDb, even because you don't know how to write IMDb. On what basis did you give three stars? You should be ashamed of yourself! You are not an honest person.

Anyway my advice is to watch this movie without looking for miracles. In my opinion everyone did their job honestly and they tried hard to make a nice movie on a budget. Now it's up to you to decide whether they hit the target or not. 6 stars.

So I have been interested in this one since it was announced, and based off the synopsis had a preset idea. No, I am one of the few that will give any SWS movie a chance, and I am glad I did. It didn't go the way I thought, but the twist is close.

Surprisingly this one had a bit of heart, and the dialog was fun. As the movie gets more serious, so does the dialog. Some of the shots are well done on the scene transition side.

All in all, well made. I'll be picking this one up.
