Without spoiling anything... This was a great episode, the amazing writing and acting has continued making me excited to watch the remaining 12 episodes of Hannibal. The thing that a love about this series is that is makes me want to watch the next episode very badly which is rare for me as 'Breaking Bad' has finished. The pacing is very good, it is becoming to be one of the best TV shows. I was worried about the start of this series because Will's situation, i didn't know where they would take it and i still don 't but I'm not worried. I'm intrigued. This episode 'Kaiseki' was more eerie than usual for this series, i like it, i like the horror essence of the show and they should show it more. I cannot really write much more as its spoiler free but i encourage you to watch this episode or if you haven't watched Hannibal yet, watch it!
We open Season 2 with Dr. Hannibal Lecter making a fine meal in his kitchen, before a very concerned looking Jack Crawford. But then you know what happens?? They start arguing!!! It's just a tiny argument, nothing serious! :)
But then we have a flashback to a period before the argument!!! What a bummer!!!
+1 Star for a very entertaining opening hook !!! lol
+1 Star for Dr. Bloom filing a report of Crawford being negligent in regards to his dealings with Graham's case.
We have Lecter continuing to meet with Dr Du Maurier, who is always a welcome addition to look at, as Lecter's 'obsession' with Will Graham begins to reveal itself to Dr. Du Maurier.
And also Graham is forced to meet for sessons with Dr. Chilton, who we know will be a future ....person of interest for everyone. Haha..
Some workers discover some new bodies and Lecter is invited to the scene by Crawford, to be the new Will Graham, and evaluate the crime scene.
+1 Star For Graham's vision when he meets with Dr. Bloom.
Then follows a fantastic meal that Lecter cooks FOR Dr. Chilton.
And near the end of the episode we find out what this new killer, who is responsible for the newly found bodies, is up to.
+1 Star for that reveal....
What a fantastic beginning to Season 2. 9/10

Season kicks off with one hell of a sequence that shows, that this season will end with an absolut insane episode!
The rest of the episode is great too as Will is confined and tries to remember what happened doing his black-out with Abigail! You can also tell how distant he has become from the others, cause of how they treat him! Hannibal continues to play his game!
The murders are also memorable once you realize what the killer is doing! Disturbing scene at the end!
Gillian Andersons character also had some memorable moments as she starts to suspects that Hannibal might not tell everything as they are!

Kaiseki follows on effortlessly from the impactful conclusion of the first season.
The opening scene is unexpected and incredibly well constructed visually. It also sets the scene in a 'Breaking Bad' style way, peaking curiosity about how the writers will take you to this point in the story.
Characters such as Graham, Crawford, Lecter, Dr Bloom, and Dr DuMaurier are used perfectly in relation to what has become of Graham. I particularly like how the consequences of Crawford's previous decisions regarding Graham are being scrutinised as details like this are sometimes conveniently ignored by writers. Likewise they are not making the plot conveniently oblivious to Lecter as a suspect which makes it feel more plausible.
Some of the crime scene and horror sequences are suitably hideous as always. Visually they are brilliantly designed, filmed and edited. Generally the cinematography and art direction is excellent throughout the episode.
All actors are on great form as always.
