When the Host of a self help podcast enlists the advice of her listeners to cover up the accidental death of her roommates cat, one problem leads another. Can the Host trust her listeners to guide her to the best solution, or will the accident turn into a tragedy of city-wide proportions? This is how Self Help becomes Help Self.

Deathly ill from eating Phone, the Host must enlist the help of her listeners once again to uncover what has made her sick. When one caller, Normal Joe, gets in an argument with a call in psychic about whether eating a week old dead cat is what made the host sick or if its the spirit of the cat unable to rest, hard choices must be made. Choices which might force our dear host into involvement with the shady underbelly of her city.

Forced into a rock and a hard place when Gandolphini Bobini, head of the Bobini crime family, comes looking for his dearly departed dachshund Pawlie, the Host must decide whether to fess up to her unruly feast or risk throwing the city into a gang war. With the possibility of Martini Martinét coming after her as well, the host decides its a "in for a penny, in for a pound" situation. She wonders why her dear listeners would put her into such a predicament?

The now vindictive Host of Help Self blames her listeners for landing her in the personal basement jail of the Martinét crime family. When her lawyer calls she's suddenly clued in that no one has been taking her seriously, everyone has been messing with her to see just how far she'll go. With the bond of mutual respect and trust broken, the Host decides to let the city burn.

With Martini Martinét and Gandolphini Bobini meeting to discuss the future of the torn city, the Host reflects on how she got here and what it means for the future of her life. In the event she does have a future for which to prepare for, she writes a will. Her debts and fortunes will be awarded to whomever can follow a treasure map.

Tricked by a therapist specializing in mobsters into admitting that she created the show because she losing control of her life which led her to eating Pawlie the dog, it looks like the Host's journey is coming to an end. The Host is confronted by Bobini and Martinét on advice of their therapist. Seeing how adeptly she manipulated the two of them, they opt to bring the Host in on the underworld operations.
