The Runarounds

I stumbled on The Runarounds one night when I was bored and just looking for something to pass the time. I went in with low expectations... and ended up hooked. It's been a while since I actually looked forward to watching a show instead of just letting it play in the background.

The cinematography is pieced together so creatively-it gives the show a unique flow that kept me engaged. The acting is good, the music is good, I love the entire vibe of the show. Definitely worth checking out!

I don't get all the hate on some of these reviews. It's supposed to be a fun show, and that's what it is. So much hate for Lilah Pate. I get people being mad that she didn't have to "work" to get the role, but she's not terrible. So many reviews are bashing her, and she's good. I feel like she fully delivers. The band in both acting and music are talented. The show has heart, the music doesn't suck and it's a fun watch. Are there unrealistic parts? Yes. But overall I enjoyed watching. Episode 5 is ridiculous but I laughed out loud several times, it's my favorite episode. If you want to watch a show just to be entrained and root for sweet characters, give it a shot.

10/10. Honestly believe the ONLY reason this show is getting hate and bad reviews is because of the upset fans from OBX, motorheads, and Julie and the phantoms. The show is honestly so good and the music is amazing. So far most of the bad reviews I have seen online somehow always bring up OBX or just other shows that were recently cancelled. I wish this show got the reviews and audience it deserves. Anyways if you are someone who likes music then this show is for you.

I was immediately drawn to The Runarounds. As the season progressed, the show reminded me so much of the movie "Almost Famous", antics within the story and all. The storylines are engaging, whether you are a teenager or older. I also found the original music used within the show quite catchy. Really hope this gets picked up for another season.

Even though I went to high school in the 80's, this show reminds me of the feelings I had in high school and after graduation. From feeling invisible to the person you were crushing on, to feeling like you had no control in your future because your parents were still telling you what to do, to those days we were so excited for the party that night and smoking copious quantities of weed. It's a cute show, and the music is good.
