To settle the score with Turbo Granny, Momo and Okarun show up at the promised tunnel. They start the game of tag to pull the location-bound spirit away, and they managed to capture Turbo Granny using Momo's psychic powers.
Momo surfaces the Mongolian Death Worm, triggering a volcano. She uses the worm as a fire hose against the lava, but the Kito family interferes. Evil Eye-possessed Jiji appears, worsening the situation.
Momo believes in ghosts, but not aliens. Okarun believes in aliens, but not ghosts. In their quests to prove each other wrong, they learn the shocking truth that both aliens and ghosts really exist and are out to get them.
Jiji's Evil Eye possession grows stronger. The group attempts exorcism through Hayashi music. When they nearly succeed in forcing Evil Eye out, Jiji begs them to spare Evil Eye's life.
Jiji's possessed by the Evil Eye. Okarun battles him while dodging Death Worm poison attacks underground. Unable to abandon Jiji, he tells Momo to escape alone. Above ground, Momo plans to use sunlight against the Death Worm.
Aira has awakened the powers of Acrobatic Silky within her and proceeds to have a seesaw battle against the Serpoians and the Dover Demon. Momo and Okarun join the fray, intensifying the battle.
Victorious against Turbo Granny, Momo and Okarun regain peace. They have gotten closer through the traumatic experience, but they find their relationship to be awkward. That is when Okarun discloses something important to Momo.
While Seiko trains Jiji to control the Evil Eye, it loses control and attacks Momo. She manages to get through the situation, and Okarun sets out to become stronger in order to defeat the Evil Eye.
